Happy Bank Holiday lovelies! I hope you are making the most of the extra day off? Perhaps taking a break from the wedmin to enjoy a day with your beau, or attending a friends beautiful big day, or perhaps you even tied the knot yourself - Congratulations!

This weekend I've been taking some time out with Mr B after a month of non-stop shoots, meetings & excitement and it's been great just to take a deep breath and re-energise for the month ahead. So, in keeping with my relaxing weekend today's inspiration board is all about understated elegance. Cool grey and white are my go-to shades for anyone seeking a calming palette - my home is filled with muted tones, making it the perfect antidote to the sometimes chaotic frenzy of running two businesses! It's a great pick for a bride who wants a relaxed yet chic, understated yet stylish day. Picking such a muted palette is anything but dull - it's all about creating interest with textures. Pick luxurious linens, beautiful full blooms with touches of silver-y grey and add battered pewter touches for a touch of antique elegance.
