Wedding bells may be ringing over the Fourth of July weekend for Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson.

Us Weekly reports that Simpson will marry Johnson over the holiday weekend in Santa Barbara, California. And she apparently won't be wearing white.

"Jessica is having something unique made," a source told the magazine. "It will be very different from the Vera Wang she wore to wed Nick Lachey [in 2002]."

The 33-year-old attended the White House Correspondents' Dinner with her fiance earlier this month and told USA Today that they were almost ready to mail their wedding invitations.

"We are very close to sending out our invites," she said. "I've been very picky on how I want everything to look and feel ... Eric's family alone is almost 90 people, so it'll definitely be a big event."

Simpson and Johnson, who are parents to Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 10 months, got engaged in 2010. She previously said 2014 would finally be the year for their nuptials.

"[W]e do know that we want it to be this year. We need to get married!" she said during a "Good Morning America" appearance in January. "I already feel like we're an old married couple already. Like, if he wanted to run, he could've run when I was hormonal and pregnant."

A representative for Simpson was not immediately available for comment.
