Italian Infused Rustic Chic Wedding

Italian Infused Rustic Chic Wedding

When Alicia and Daniel decided to tie the knot they were positive of one thing, they wanted their wedding day to represent them to the fullest. After hearing that Daniels grandparents would not be able to make the trip from Italy the two of them decided to throw an Italian heirloom wedding in honor of their missing family members. The signs above were held up for Daniel's grandparents who couldn't make it from Italy, Ciao Nonno and Ciao Nonna!

A subtle Italian theme ran through their wedding favors, ceremony, and even Daniels cuff links. All these Italian infused wedding details turned their big day into a gorgeous family affair. Their entire day was beautifully captured by Aimee McAuley. So much more to see in the full gallery here!

If you are on the hunt for a Pacific Northwest wedding venue with a lot of flair you should definitely check out Maplehurst Farms. Just 60 miles north of Seattle and 35 miles south of Bellingham.

Situated alongside the Skagit River, the 6 acre family estate features views of Mount Baker, a historic mansion and arbor built in 1903, a 5,000 square foot event barn, landscaped gardens, old growth trees, and a large grass field. A few amenities offered that caught our eye are below, but click here to see all that they offer, which is quite an impressive list.

* Grand entrance, chandeliers & strings of white globe lights
* 300 vintage china dinner plates, 350 vintage china dessert plates
* 300 wide mouth pint sized mason jars
* Large milk glass collection, complete with cake plates, punch bowls, vases, dishes, etc.

My favorite DIY was the flower box centerpieces! They were made from old barn wood that my grandparents had around for a long time and my mom assembled and painted them all. The favors which were "seeds" had a custom 'Grazie!!' kraft tag ( see them above). Each guest had a different place setting, but pulled together by a chalk painted table number bottle and mason jars with the bride's signature pink straws and handmade barn wood centerpiece boxes.

Chalkboard Wine Bottle Table Number
Collect used wine bottles from family and friends, and simply spray paint them with chalkboard paint. Once they are dry use a chalkboard marker like SuperChalks White Liquid Chalk Marker Pen to write your table numbers on them. You could even put in a simple arrangement and double them as your wedding centerpiece.
