Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on May 24, and it was definitely an affair to remember judging by the first photos that have started to emerge.

The bride wore a stunning Givenchy Haute Couture lace gown with a long silk veil, and changed into what has been described as a "sparkly and plunging mini" dress by Balmain for the reception, while the groom wore a Givenchy tuxedo. Baby North was outfitted by the designer, as well.

The couple was serenaded by friend and guest John Legend before dancing to a mashup of Etta James' "At Last" and Otis Redding's "These Arms of Mine" and "Tenderness." It was a star-studded affair, though there was some drama: Rob Kardashian skipping out at the last moment, Beyonce and Jay Z deciding not to attend, and the ongoing perplexity that is Jaden Smith wearing a white Batman costume during the reception. West went on to give an impassioned 20-minute wedding speech, in which he called the Kardashian family "the most remarkable people of our time," whose combination of powers "can make the world a better place."
