Lovers of pretty pastel tones and vintage details will be swooning over this mornings wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park...right in the heart of London, but you'd never guess from the images of Lana and Rahul surrounded by nature.

The lovely couple's big day literally couldn't be more full of the joys of Spring - Easter eggs, daffodils, tulips, a bicycled bedecked in blooms and the sweetest colour palette you ever did see.

I love Bridesmaids in yellow and this group look particularly gorgeous in vintage dresses, loving searched for by the Bridal party.

And as well as the lovely images from Shell de Mar, we also have the highlights film from Newlywed Films - which I have to admit made me shed several happy tears...

Lana The Bride:I knew straight away that I wanted to get a lace mermaid gown, but there were so many to choose from. The lovely Mirror Mirror staff were extremely helpful and made the dress shopping experience unforgettable, they also designed and produced a jacket that was made from an identical Pronovias dress.

Vintage earrings were given to me by my best friend and maid of honour. I also had a small diamond cross that I bought a few years ago on a trip to Miami - it was a very special trip and wearing that dainty piece of jewellery mentally brought me back to that moment in time.

My hair was done by my long time hairdresser Sofia who created a beautiful soft volume vintage look for me and my bridesmaids. Again, she captured my ideas without me having to explain much and the result was better that I could have imagined myself. Sofia is not only a hairdresser but a very good friend. It meant a lot to me that I was surrounded with friends on the W Day - Sofia made me feel so comfortable and helped me calm the nerves! She also helped me through the evening to fix my hair and kept an eye on me!

MFH (my future husband) bought a dapper navy suit from Reiss and a cream shirt from Pink. His pale yellow silk bow tie went beautifully with a pale yellow rose buttonhole.

Pembroke Lodge is the first and only venue we considered. Located in the middle of my favorite Richmond Park, this stately home's Belvedere suite was perfect for my vintage/Easter themed wedding. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous and the view across from the terrace was breathtaking. The Lodge's team were superb with helping me organize the day. I had moved to Dubai a few months before the wedding and the team were invaluable in helping me organize everything remotely. They kept in touch almost on a daily basis in weeks leading up to the big day. On the W day itself, I couldn't believe that everything looked and felt just like imagined. It was beyond perfect.

Tiggy from Idyllic Days and her team made our wedding look and feel absolutely divine. From the very beginning, Tiggy listened very carefully to my somewhat unstructured ideas and came up with a final result that would make any vintage Bride over-the-moon happy. At times she seemed to have been reading my mind! We had pieces of vintage glassware on every table and across the room - some were filled with single stem flowers and some had beautiful sweets. We also had giant balloons of the same color scheme across the room and many many pieces of vintage books, binoculars and other accessories. I was quite worried that the quantity of small accessories would be overwhelming as it was hard to imagine how all of it would look in the room. But talented Tiggy arranged the pieces in a way that reflected all my ideas and made the room look like a light Spring heaven.

Tiggy also did my flowers. I wanted a very specific combination of Lily of the Valley and roses, which Tiggy of course put together in a stunning, elegant and very very vintage masterpiece of art that I absolutely loved!

My beautiful bridesmaids were pale yellow dresses from various vintage shops. In fact, my maid of honour's vintage dress from Mela Mela in Teddington was the very first purchase for my wedding. I looked at it and fell in love and realized then and there that pale yellow would be my main theme. My niece and nephew and our good friends' baby girl were flower girls and page boy at the wedding. The girls were wearing handmade cream tutu dresses made by Gilly Gray.

We did not have any readings but wrote our own vows. We thought that this day is just for the two of us and decided to declare special words to each other. My best friend sang a beautiful song during the signing of the register which made me cry. The most special moment was when, having signed the register, we looked around the room and saw all our nearest and dearest who were so happy for us.

Pembroke Lodge's talented chefs made the most amazing dinner and canapés. I showed them some canapé ideas from Pinterest and, to my surprise, they recreated them beautifully.

We had an Easter dessert table that had Charbonnel Et Walker chocolates, beautiful French macaroons made by Sarah Kay in soft yellow, pink and mint colours. Sarah also made gorgeous Easter cookies in traditional egg, heart and bunny shapes and mini meringues that were oh-so scrumptious.

A vintage cupcake tower featured in our dessert table with a birdcage red velvet cake topping this beauty. Trace James from Cotton and Crumbs is an amazing cake maker and designer who listened to us carefully and created this masterpiece that not only looked but tasted out of this world.

Shella from Shell de Mar is extremely talented. Her portfolio was full of soft quirky full-of-love-and-colour pictures that we fell in love with. We also had an engagement shoot in London where we got to know her better and discussed our expectations. She listened carefully and created beautiful images that perfectly captured the day and our emotions. She was always there without being disruptive and I was surprised how many beautiful pictures of us she took as I did not even notice!

We long deliberated on whether we should have a videographer or not. However, having seen a video of a friend's wedding made by Steve and his team from Newlywed Films, the decision was imminent. And oh how happy we are that we made this choice. The short highlights video is such a special memory and I had to use multiple tissues. The quality is movie-like and you feel like a total star! I would recommend a videographer to all couples out there - it is an invaluable memory as for me personally the day flew by and I felt like I missed a lot of what was happening. When watching the video, you get a view of all aspects of your day rather than your specific memories.

Choose your suppliers carefully - mine pretty much made the wedding and without their talent, skills, help and support this day would never have turned out the perfect W Day. They let you enjoy the run up to the wedding and the day itself without undue stress - they become the friends who tell you "keep calm it's only a wedding" when you really need to hear it.
