Vintage Botanical Wedding Inspiration

Vintage Botanical Wedding Inspiration

If there were one style or theme that always feels like a fit for a wedding it would be botanical. I mean, flowers + weddings were basically made for each other. Today's gorge shoot, styled by Stockroom Vintage (who also provided the pretty rentals), and captured by Alissa Saylor, combines all the best things that come to mind when you think botanical. A fresh + slightly wild bouquet? Check. A beautiful wandering jasmine vine crown? Check. A tablescape abundant with lush ferns + greenery? Check. Authentic vintage botany books? Yep. Those are there, too! We're totally loving all of the great inspiration to be had. We're pinning some pretties from this one for sure!

From Elizabeth of Stockroom Vintage, We were inspired by the vision of a botanist's vintage laboratory. We loved the idea of a well-worn lab table, which housed her old botany books and lab equipment as well as the plant specimens she's collected, which she places in her beakers, test tubes and apothecary bottles. We used a mix of rich greenery, beloved curiosities and scientific elements-like the test tubes and vintage botanical prints-to evoke the contrast between a botanist's bookish study and the wild romance of the untamed, natural world.

That pretty suite is by Southland Fox. Such a perfect fit for the shoot!

SOUL flowers had their work cut out for them on this one + they definitely delivered! All of the botanical details are just so lovely!

And love all the lab equipment elements the team incorporated, too!

We feel like there are so many ways to incorporate this fun theme into your wedding day design! Big thanks to everyone below for sharing their talents with us today!
