Sweet Bohemian Wedding

When Olya used Instagram to search for a vintage Hebrew typewriting machine, she ended up with much more than she ever could have imagined. One post about looking for the typewriter and a "like" later, Olya ended up meeting the man of her dreams - Yossi. Originally born in Holon, Israel, Yossi had just moved to Los Angeles, California but that didn't stop the two from developing a beautiful long distance love story as they were able to stay connected through long, romantic e-mails, skypes, and many shares moments together on an oceans-apart distance with difference time zones.

Olya, who is the blogger behind boho blog TLV Birdie, planned the couple's wedding on her own in only 3 months. With a strong love for everything boho - Olya only checked out one venue and knew immediately it was the perfect vibe for the bohemian wedding she desired: warm and cozy with wooden and stone accents.

With an intimate wedding of around 100 guests, Olya wanted everyone to feel the handmade touch and cozy vibe of their wedding day. The special typewriter that brought the couple together was featured in it's own corner and guests were able to type them a love letter. We love all of the little DIY details of their wedding from dreamcatchers to feathers, and even silverware tied together with rosemary. The couple made sure to include an Instagram tag and polaroids hand-printed on wood to honour how they originally met.

Guests were amazed by the special feeling and warm vibe of the wedding and Olya & Yossi could not have been more pleased with the outcome. As a small token of appreciation, guests were invited to take home the flower jars so everyone could hold onto a piece of the beautiful wedding.
