The Amalfi Coast is one of the most beautiful places in Europe, and most definitely some of the most impressive weddings we've seen have come from this area. Located on the western coast of Italy just south of Naples, the area is world famous for its panoramic views and steep cliffside towns. Today we look at three breathtaking venues on the Amalfi Coast that have stood out for us. We think you'll get a kick out of these!

Clinging to the cliff-tops high above the Mediterranean sits the Agriturismo Sant'Alfonso. Originally a 17th century farmhouse, the building has been restored with many original architectural features preserved. The venue has its own chapel on site as well as 8 rooms for guest accommodation. You can't get much more breathtaking than the view from the outdoor dining terrace below, and the chapel has a gorgeous lawn area just perfect for an outdoor ceremony which also has a stunning panorama.

Originally a 12th century Italian villa, the Palazzo Avino is situated 350 meters above sea level on the steep shores of the Amalfi Coast. The hotel's 43 rooms can accommodate most of a small to medium sized wedding party to stay, and receptions of up to 75 guests can be held here. For civil ceremonies, Ravello Town Hall is quite convenient at only 150 meters away from the Palazzo. Views are astounding from every level- the hotel has several terraces including a dining area where receptions can be held and the head chef has even received a Michelin star.

Carved right into the cliff, the Hotel Grand Il Saraceno was originally an 11th century fortress. There is a private chapel on site for wedding ceremonies, and receptions of up to 200 guests can be catered for here with 62 rooms on site for guest accommodation. Il Saraceno also features an outdoor seawater pool, has its own private beach access, and two restaurants with dining terraces overlooking the sea. The overall decor has a Moorish flavor which is quite unique and tasteful.
