words from the vendor

From The Goodness:
This was a wedding filled with either custom design or DIY goodies. Their invitations are unique and designed around a Hawaii kitsch theme, the views for their ceremony and reception are to die! We (The Goodness) designed the Save The Dates, Invitations, tote bags, the cute flag Place Cards, and the MR and MRS signs on their chairs!

They had their family and friends come along for three days of adventures with their fun destination wedding in Hawaii. Everyone was invited to the rehearsal dinner and they received cute designed tote bags, the wedding was the next day ending with a day out and about with all their friends and family seeing Oahu.

from the bride

When Tim and I decided on a destination wedding we knew it would not be easy, but it was worth it. We decided on Hawaii as a place that our closest friends and family could go for the wedding but also for a memorable trip. I worked with a wedding planner who lives in Hawaii to help me prepare for the big day. I also worked with Lisa and my MOH Jillian to help formulate the theme and create all of the DIY projects. We chose Kualoa Ranch for its stunning natural beauty away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The ceremony was held on Secret Island, a gorgeous beach that we took boats across an ancient fishpond to reach. We really liked the idea of vintage Hawaii so that is what we went for with the decor and design. Vintage postcards, bunting, tiki mugs and hula dolls all added to our classy and kitschy theme. We used the tiki mugs as vases and accented each table with a pineapple. Our guests enjoyed shaved ice and hawaiian pupu's while classic hawaiian music serenaded them during cocktail hour. The only thing that you miss with a destination wedding is more friends and family being able to attend. In those situations a teleporter would work wonders, but The Goodness did a fantastic job of capturing the day with their amazing photography. I do have to say that I would not change anything! The wedding was beautiful and better than I imagined it would be. The scenery was gorgeous being in Hawaii. The food was delicious with local produce! We even had shaved ice! The weather was perfect, not too hot and we even had some rain for good luck!
