It seemed grandpa just couldn't catch a break. He lost his wife of 63 years and he lost his beloved puppy.

But a little surprise from his grandkids showed him that he'll never be alone. YouTube user Davy Vanhaesendonck of Belgium posted this touching video of grandpa's reaction to receiving a gift of companionship, from man's best friend of course, "a little friend" for grandpa as he grieves.

"You're not alone anymore grandpa," the family says. Grandpa's reaction will bring you to tears.
