I Propose | Elaborate on how the two of you met.

We are high school sweethearts. We were boyfriend and girlfriend in grade 3 in primary school and then started dating again in grade 12. The rest as they say, is history

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down.

Kobus proposed in March 2013 while on a family holiday in Cape Town. I must admit it was very romantic, he asked me on top of table mountain at sunset. The clouds were rolling in over the mountain and the sunset was glorious with all the pinks and oranges on display. My sister and her boyfriend were also there with us, I remember her yelling "yes!!!" on my behalf because I just stood there in shock - it was very unexpected.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day.

My most memorable moment was probably when the chapel doors were opened and I saw friends and family, and then looking up and seeing Kobus. His expression was priceless, one of pure joy. I will never forget that feeling of togetherness when I realised everyone we love is right here in this room with us, and chances are - this will not happen again.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides.

Weddings are very expensive as we all know - only invite people who are actually a part of your life. You can never ever have too many flowers. Invite the kids, they are part of the family and love being there. Enjoy every second, things will go wrong but what the heck!? Get the best photographer you can afford and that you feel comfortable with.
