Calligraphy wedding ideas

Today's calligraphy wedding ideas, are inspired from the recent styled shoot in Provence (more to come on that soon). For the shoot we teamed up with the lovely Nora of NicePlume Calligraphie and oh my word, was the work just stunning!

There is something that is intrinsically romantic and whimsical about calligraphy. It takes me back to a time of romantic love letters and grand balls, where ladies wore empire lined lace dresses and gentlemen were dressed in their finest tailoring.

If you are looking to include calligraphy into your wedding day, it can be so much more than just the wedding invitation, it can be the cornerstone of setting your romantic ambiance.

In keep with the style, look for pastels and soft tones of brown, grey, peach and mint to add a depth to the colour palette.

With Angelina Jolie including her kids drawings on her wedding dress, I predict that we will see more calligraphy adorning wedding dresses and veils and brides seek to increase the personalisation of their big day.
