Serena Williams is looking for a match off the court.

In a Twitter Q&A Friday, the tennis star told curious fans she "desperately" wants to settle down and have a family. "My time will come," she added.

In a follow-up question, a fan asked her if she was single, and the world's top-ranked player responded, "Not by choice."

Williams, 33, also discussed a variety of topics, such as what she loves to do when she's off from tennis and why she won't be running the New York City Marathon like her friend and rival Caroline Wozniacki.

Hey, when you've won 18 Grand Slam singles titles, you don't have to run 26.2 miles to prove yourself.
