Channing Tatum has been a very busy man the last few years. So how has he managed to stay so grounded? It's all thanks to wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, he says.

"She keeps us all sane," the actor told reporters at a screening of his new movie "Foxcatcher" in New York City on Tuesday. "Jenna puts everything in perspective for me, always."

He added, "I'll find myself spinning out or angry or whatever, or even happy, and she always somehow ends up righting the ship."

The couple met as co-stars on the set of the 2006 movie "Step Up" and tied the knot in 2009. In a recent interview with Redbook Magazine, Tatum talked about their on-set romance.

"It's interesting now, because we can watch ['Step Up'] and see; we can go, 'Oh, wow, that was actually our first real kiss.' As soon as the movie wrapped, we went back to LA and were together, and together ever since -- never broken
up. That's nine years."

Tatum and Dewan-Tatum are parents to a 16-month-old daughter named Everly.
