If you've been following us for some time, you probably didn't miss my dimmed light posts. I was using Tin Can Lanterns on my balcony all summer and Fishbowl Lantern colorfully illuminates my bedside table.

Lanterns always lend magical ambience so this time I've found a really enchanting winter Holiday Ice Lanterns project. Susan of 'Oh!My Creative' waited for the temperature below freezing to seize her chance and make this rustic glowing ice decoration. Her idea was to use cranberries and greenery from her garden, put them in between two containers and freeze them. When I look at this lantern, it already gets me in the holiday mood. One more thing, Jessi advises on using a battery operated candle inside to let the lanterns last longer.

The darkest evenings are still ahead, so don't wait too long to add as many spots of lights as possible to your surroundings. We are eager to see your house illuminated by the lanterns!
