Beauty In The Rough - A Rustic Chic Styled Bridal Shoot

We do love a bit of Rustic wedding inspiration here at Festival Brides, especially the sort that screams the outdoors with hay bales, wild thistle bouquets, dried flowers and tweed colours. There's just something about a rustic wedding that always warms my heart and today's shoot has had this same effect with it's soft lighting, vintage tones and rustic romance. I love the brides long ruby red hair plaited and clipped to one side by some wild flowers and of course, who doesn't love a shoot with a horse or two!

Ilaria Petrucci Photography, the curator of the shoot, tells us all about it.....

I love everything that has that sparkle of a "beauty in the rough" sort of feel. With this shoot we aimed to capture exactly that. That raw and rustic beauty that lies within the simplest of locations, in this case, a farm, because beauty really is everywhere, we just have to find it.

The styling and décor by Beyond Vintage just re-inforced this idea and together with the beautiful flower arrangements by Tarnia Williams - Flowers For Weddings and the cake by Cakes by Sally we created a beautiful, chic and rustic wedding inspiration for all the organic and elegant brides out there. I love how Wood textures, wild flowers, cowboy boots and lace work so well together. We kept hair and make up, by the wonderful Marijana Jovanova - Hair Sculptress and Motherlipstick, very soft and romantic...again adding to the rustic simplicity and elegance we wanted to showcase with this shoot.
