These two are mejor juntos at their Dia de los Muertos wedding in Philadelphia

After meeting in an online chatroom, video chatting for months, and making a home in New York for years, Manny and Chrissy finally got married in Philadelphia last October. Manny was born in Mexico City, and Chrissy has a passion for the Spanish language, so a Dia de los Muertos theme fit perfectly for their celebration.

But this wedding was more than just sugar skulls, intricate bunting, and wedding dogs in mariachi outfits. Chrissy put it so beautifully, I'mma let her say it herself:

For Manny and me, Dia de los Muertos means treasuring each other 'until death do us part' and recognizing that although we may not live forever, our love will be remembered eternally through the celebrations of our children and our children's children. In this sense, our love will be a legacy for generations to come. I also wanted to find a way to honor my father, who died when I was young but continues to have a very significant influence on my life and my decisions.
