Maybe it's the weather, maybe it's engagement season, or maybe it's the fact that we've got a new magazine coming out like...next week, but we're really, really into great first dance songs lately. We also happen to kind of adore the sweet tradition of including a first dance in your reception agenda, although, as we've said before, there's no such thing as a perfect wedding so, seriously, plan this thing your way. Even if that means there's no first dance.

But! If there is, these songs are some of our absolute favorites. There are a few all-time classics, a couple of rustic tunes, an indie number or two and at least two choices for the modern couples out there.
