Valentine's Wedding Palette Inspired by Marsala | Fly Away Bride

Our fresh take on this Valentine's wedding palette uses Pantone's colour of 2015, marsala, as our base. We actually weren't loving this shade when it was first announced but with this inspiration board you can see how it can be best used to dramatic effect. It's the perfect time of the year to introduce a little warmth, and the tones here are not only warm but vibrant. One thing to remember is that less is definitely more with this shade- a few pops used in florals and linens should be more than enough. It's especially pretty teamed with more neutral blush pink and cream tones. Using lots of greenery will add depth to your palette, and don't be afraid to add your own flair and create a bit of interest with different textures whether on your cake, stationery, dress or linens. There are so many elements that can create visual interest, sometimes we forget that colour is not the only way! Happy Valentine's everyone, and don't forget to check out our Valentine's bridal headpiece giveaway, if you haven't already.
