Dinosaurs and pickles combine in this ultra easy centerpiece DIY project

When you go through as many pickles as I do (yummm), you end up with a ton of empty glass jars. These come in super handy for crafting up some DIYed centerpieces, so I decided to convert my handy dandy dry goods pickle jar upcycle into a super easy, dino-tastic centerpiece idea perfect for a natural history museum wedding or dinosaur-themed wedding. Here's the surprisingly easy method for whipping these bad boys up in just a few minutes.

First remove the pesky labels from the jars with a little Goo Gone, olive oil, nail polish remover, or elbow grease. This is the hardest part.

Find yourself some cheapie plastic toys at a craft store or on Amazon. There are loads of options for these so match it to your style: dragons, dinos, flowers, action figures, etc.

I then used a little super glue to attach each little dino to the top of a jar lid, let it dry, and then sprayed each with some gold craft spray paint I had on hand. I could see these being rad in rainbow colors. Let them dry, twist on the lids, and fill them with anything your heart desires: moss, baby's breath, and fairy lights (as seen here), or candy, geeky terrarium do-dads ... the jar is your oyster.

I know some of you are already collecting various kind of jars for your centerpieces. Dish on your DIY plans!
