Love is found on different times in different places. The question is where will you find your true love. Skonnie and Telanie's love kicked off in the classroom, a very convenient place for boy and girl to meet. Well, these two recently tied the knot and put together a stunning celebration. Their wedding was at Mellow Stream near Dullstroom, a big tourist attraction in the Mpumalanga area. Photography by Simone Franzel.
Lovebirds | How did you two meet?We met in St.5 at the High-school's opening day , in St.9 he first started looking
at me as more than a friend, the day we got married was exactly our anniversary
of 10years together.
We were on our way to the farm (he lives on a farm, I didn't want to stay
in town the evening because the power was off, almost there I told him in a joke,
he must just think of asking me to marry him because I so badly want to be on
the farm and have one house not two, when I turned towards him he was holding
the little box up with a huge smile, I was so happy I almost let him go off the
road. That evening I couldn't go to sleep at all.
The moment I will never ever forget is dancing lee-Ann rimes- cant fight the
moonlight on the bar with my husband, without looking at each other , when the
song started we both just got onto the bar and then only we saw each other, so
we had a ball dancing it on the bar. and our guests loved it too, the next morning
we just got videos and photos from everyone of our bar dancing, (even our
photographer captured it on camera).
Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.
My fairytale was-FUN-FARM-LOVE-FRIENDS-FAMILY-all in ONE!!!
Just go with it! No matter what, this is the day in your life you will always
remember and treasure, as long as you put everything in our Heavenly Fathers
hands, nothing can go wrong, it just turns out the way it was meant to be, and
sometimes our meant to be and His meant to be isn't the same, so that's why I
say just go with it. In the end it flows perfectly.
