A Bohemian Inspired Wedding Shoot with Artistic Soul...

A Bohemian Inspired Wedding Shoot with Artistic Soul...

I am in love with today's styled shoot put together by wedding planner and stylist Claire Duran and shot so beautifully by The Kama Photography.

I love the setting, the arty black and white images which are just so pretty and the gorgeous styling. I love the brides over-sized bouquet and her awesome floral and feather crown both of which are currently trending in the wonderful world of weddings (it's all about big flowers in 2015). I love how bohemian the shoot feels and also it's 'vampy' undertones which are highlighted through the richness of the colours in the decor, flowers and the bride's make-up. It's dark yet light at the same time and I just love this contrast.

Shot at Battlefield Park in Northern Virginia and featuring some fabulous wedding inspiration, Claire Duran tells us all about it.....

The stunning natural and organic beauty of the Manassas Battlefield Park, in Northern Virginia, with its dry and tall grass showcasing warm yellows, greens and browns, was the perfect geographic match for the bohemian, free-spirited and artistic soul that I had in mind when designing this shoot. Ben and Karolina from The Kama Photography captured all the earthiness, romance, and warmth that I was looking forward to combining in this shoot. The vintage and mismatched accents including china, flatware, glassware, lanterns, old books and other props, were generously contributed by Vintage Affairs, perfectly complementing the scenery and overall look. Our model for the day, sweet Lina Grajewski, wore a grecian inspired gown provided by Leftys Bridal, and selected by stylist Aisha Barnes from Closet Fashionistas. The talented Alexandra Wear from Wear Hair did our model's hair combining soft curls and a braided front, and natural looking make up accentuated with a magenta lip. Flowers were exquisitely put together by Meg Dodini from Succulents & Saffron. With a rustic feeling prevailing, the flower arrangements showcased fall foliage, feathers, cymbidium orchids, peonies, and wax flowers.

French pastries presented on mismatched dessert plates and a small cake ornamented with fresh flowers were placed at different levels of a vintage ladder, surrounded by the beauty of the dry crops, and exemplifying as a small version of a dessert table. A green old folding table with overflowing flowers coming out of its drawer provided us with the perfect setting to showcase the delightful invitation suite and other paper goods by B Designs Paper.

As the sun was setting, Lina took a guitar and delighted us with some lovely tunes, as the lenses of The Kama duo kept on capturing more stunning images. I thank the amazing group of vendors that contributed to this styled shoot and we all hope that it serves to inspire other bohemian, free-spirited and artistic souls out there.
