Lovebirds | How did you two meet?
We met when we attended the same Christmas party, more than 8 years ago now!

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down
We went for lunch at The Tearoom in Kirstenbosch Gardens. Afterward we went for a walk along one of the more deserted paths and he asked me to sit on a tree stump and went down on one knee in front of me to pop the question.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
It's very hard to pick one particular moment, there are so many! Because I planned it all myself, it was extra special that everything ran smoothly and just seemed to fall into place. And I would have to say that that walk down the aisle, with my father beside me and my husband waiting for me, was pretty amazing.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides
Try to have a good idea of what you want before you start seeing service providers. I started by choosing the venue, which took nearly 2 months of weekly appointments all around Cape Town, so be patient! After choosing the venue I had a much better idea of how I wanted everything to look and found it much easier from there. Go with your gut when choosing the people to work on your wedding, I met each person myself, and I didn't have a thing to worry about on the day.
