Who knew that a trip to the physio would result in one meeting the love of their life? For Svenja and Gregor, this is exactly how the story went! Seven years ago, when Svenja was completing her apprenticeship as a physiotherapist, a patient by the name of Gregor presented himself to the clinic after having had surgery on his knee. Conversation flowed easily during sessions but once his therapy was complete, they were no longer in contact. About three months later and on a hospital round, Svenja met Gregor again in one of the rooms while looking for another patient. He had just come out of surgery on his other knee and didn't hesitate to ask Svenja to help him with his physio once again. He admits that it was her amazing smile and the sparkle in her eye that attracted her to him and although neither were looking for love at the time, they just happened upon one another. All the physio sessions paid off and before long, Gregor was able to get down on bended knee to ask Svenja for her hand in marriage and they are now planning their wedding. Today though, we are featuring their engagement session in the Wahner Heide woods near Cologne and it is full of the cutest little details. Svenjas lush, bright purple bouquet is so lovely and fresh you can nearly smell the blooms, but my favourite of all has to be their vintage moped. Besides working so well as a prop, how cool would it be to head off into the sunset on the back of one of these little beauties?
