A sparkly gown, a glitzy wedding theme and one big "Great Gatsby" celebration. We just can't get enough of Ellie & Peter's roaring 20's styled wedding that makes us want to take off our shoes and dance.

Ellie & Peter were both born and raised in the US and they each came to Israel for different reasons. One night they bumped into each other and the rest is history. Two years after their first date, Peter surprised Ellie with an emotional proposal at the privacy of their home, and Ellie who was so clueless about this upcoming exciting turn of events, was even more surprised to find out that Peter organized a trip to Texas for the both of them to celebrate their engagement with their families.

When they returned from the US, they started planning their wedding in Israel and the date they chose was memorable and symbolic - New Year's Eve. Once the date was set, it was time to get creative. Their wedding concept was inspired by the book "The Great Gatsby", which was basically one big 20's celebration colored in black and white and shimmered with gold glitter.

Ellie, together with the talented design team - Mood, brought the concept to life in all the other elements as well - the escort cards, the centerpieces or the masks that were handed out to the guests. Ellie's look was also inspired by the shimmering era as she wore a sparkly dress with pearls, a typical detail in the 1920's fashion.

Another detail from their wedding that we particularly loved was their invitation. Their love story was literally illustrated starting from their first date to the marriage proposal.

Elli tells us how important it was for them to add their personal touch and so one creative way to do so was by naming the cocktails that were served at the wedding after some of their greatest milestones together: Austin Dirty Martini in the name of Ellie's home town, Tel Aviv Whiskey named after the city they met in and Cape Town Kir Royal after the next city they moved to. What an original and fun concept!
