I'm so chuffed to be introducing you babes to a new fave of ours this morning, Norfolk Bells. I tell you what between this gorgeous bell tent company and the amazing Keeper and the Dell shoot we featured last week, Norfolk wasn't lying when it said it works hard and plays hard! Kudos to them!

Hello! I am Beth and I run Norfolk Bells, bell tent hire. I live with my characterful (if somewhat needy) miniature Jack Russell Jimmy James, in an old farm cottage in the heart of the Norfolk Broads and I can proudly proclaim that neither he nor I have webbed feet...

When not playing with tents I like reading, running, sailing and walking little ol'Jimmy on the beach. I am also bit of an obsessive about all things gin and Norfolk related and will hop along to any shindig or social occasion which offers to combine the two (or either!).

I've been hugely influenced by the music I was brought up on with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Simon and Garfunkel as well as a touch of classical guitar playing out of the 'tape' player, I would say my musical tastes are definitely stuck in another era.

But when I think of a music festival, it's the essence of friends, family, love and nature all set against a musical soundtrack as opposed to it being all about the music so, if I could pick just one festival to go to, it would be the Meadows in the Mountains festival in Bulgaria, I can't think of anything more wonderful than dancing until the sun comes up to see the clouds beneath your feet and wild mountain meadows all around.

Well, before Norfolk Bells I was a bit of a wayward sailor (hello, sailor!) bobbing about on the world's seven seas in various vessels from Tall ships (yes, a pirate) to huge 2,000 passenger cruise ships (errggh). Then the smell of land lured me home and, after a brief sojourn in London, I returned to my homeland of Norfolk.

After a few years toiling the land with my Brother and Father (wellied farmer folk) and reigniting my love of this county, I decided I wanted to introduce people to my slice of paradise. To enable others really appreciate it I thought people have to stay in it, revel in it, party in it and come together and share their truly memorable moments against this stunning backdrop. So, Norfolk Bells was born, to offer simple, classically charming and glamorous accommodation to enhance any party, wedding, shindig or glamping holiday, right in the heart of this unique wetland landscape. Since its inception, Norfolk Bells have found themselves as far afield as Yorkshire, so we've added another string to our bow; 'have tent, will travel and spread gaieties'.

Fundamentally, we offer alternative accommodation for weddings, parties and even camping holidays, but the essence of what we do is to bring nostalgia and simple beauty to those who feel disillusioned by an age of hi-tech and soulless modern development (ooo that's sounds a bit heavy). In all honesty, I think the simplicity of our tents bring a sense of calm and peace, so when lined in a row or dotted about a wild meadow against an infamous big Norfolk sky, they seem to unleash an ease with your surroundings and a sense of feeling where anything goes. That's why they are so great for festival weddings, parties and any big family or friend get together.

We were recently honoured to be asked to supply our tents to a three day festival wedding on the East Norfolk Coast. We were TOO excited... Firstly, 10 of our gorgeously airy, glamorous and fabulous tents were to be dotted in a row next to vintage tractors, fishing boats and seaside air (we get a bit too excited about tractors and boats!) and it was all within a stone's throw of Norfolk Bell's home - YEY!

The biggest joy was working with the über cool couple, who knew exactly what they wanted and were just sooo excited about sharing their big day(s) with their nearest and dearest. They were super relaxed about what they wanted from us: just 10 tents with bunting and lights and a few of them decked out with beds, bed linen and comfy cushions with lush rugs too! (That's easy enough).

The whole ethos was just in line with what I envisaged from Norfolk Bells; it was all about getting family and friends together and to just have a jolly good time; no drama, no fuss, no strict schedules. All they wanted was for everyone to have fun and take a dip in the North sea at least once a day. It was a dreamy setting and a really relaxed celebration of life! Our tents looked great and we got some wonderful feedback too:

We like to keep life free from as much stress as possible and things are stressful enough when planning your wedding, so we aim to make things nice a simple for you. As a company we try and meet your requirements to the very letter (though, if you're after a fluro-pink tent with room for your pet hippo... We may struggle).

We understand that our tents are as much about the practical (to economically accommodate all your guests) as they are about the visual, so whatever your needs we'll try our darndest to meet them. We're all about the pretty, so just tell us what you want, when you want it and quite simply we'll turn up (with oodles of bunting), set up and it'll look just as you wanted. When it's all over, we'll take it all down without you needing worry about it at all. Simples.

Your wedding day is all about indulging in your whimsical fancies and dream idea, so go with them. If it means inflatable giant pandas, bridesmaids wearing fairy wings, best men in neon suits and winkle pickers or sugared donuts and toffee apples for dessert... Then make it happen!

When it comes to bell tent hire, then we say choose a supplier you can get on with and communicate with. It alleviates so much stress and it feels great when your supplier can see, share and make your visions come to life... We say go with your gut!

Take too many pictures, laugh too much and love like you've never been hurt.

You could live in one of those things permanently, right?!
