G + Mike thought of some pret-ty fun ways to infuse their personalities into their wedding. And while they may have had some ideas of their own, deciding to work with the talented floral + design team at Belovely was a genius move. Because with that many innovative thinkers on board, the creativity was really able to reach new heights! G tells us, Michael is 1/4 Native American, and grew up visiting his family's tribe up in Maine. And I just so happen to love that culture and fashion. We incorporated Native American details throughout the decor, as well as the ceremony. We also grow a vegetable garden every year, and are mostly vegetarian, so the menu reflected that with a lot of custom designed, healthy vegetarian dishes. Overall, there were lots of natural details, a bunch of texture in the florals, and yoga blanket table runners - since we also do yoga!

When she started searching for her perfect wedding dress, G was on the hunt for one that had some blush notes to it, as her mother and grandmother both wore blush suit dresses for their small weddings years prior. Although she ended up finding her gold headpiece from Lovely Bride before finding her dress, once she laid eyes on that Claire Pettibone number, she knew it was the absolute perfect marriage (pun intended!) of gold and blush, and she had to have it.
