The opulent skies mixing with this soft bridal look creates a rare and powerful scene. Bridal sessions most commonly portray the blushing, pensive bride who is preparing to meet her love, but we love the sense of conviction and strength of this bride captured here by film photographer Sara Donaldson ...

From Sara Donaldson: " The weathered trees stood like frozen chess pieces waiting patiently for their player to make his move.... Ominous clouds rolled in, gifting us with winds that lifted veils and shifted moods...

Folly Beach in Charleston, South Carolina is named The Edge of America. On this day, it was The Edge of the Storm. We had 30 magical minutes to capture Lauren in the moody weather before the coast was overtaken by an unbelievable sideways rain. Although I originally envisioned a calm, two-hour shoot, I was overjoyed to see the depth of imagery that can occur with moody conditions. Ivana Krejci's gown paired with Melinda Rose Design veils and belt provided graceful softness; mother nature provided depth." Vendor Details
