Trend Alert: Using Colourful Glassware for Your Wedding

via

There are certain details of your wedding, you probably haven't put much thought into.

When you have big ticket items like flowers, entertainment and photography to think about, things like plates, cutlery and napkins are the no-brainer details to leave in the hands of your venue or caterer.

Glassware is often one such touch - highballs for the water, wine glasses for dinner, and flutes for the toasts. That's it, right?

Not any We've been noticing a real trend towards couples getting creative with their wedding day glassware.

What started as a move towards stemless wine glasses and mason jars, has now evolved into full on colour.

Green goblets, purple plates and orange vases; whether you mix it up for an eclectic, bohemian vibe, add lots of pink for a touch of romance, or keep it fresh and beachy with blue bottles, using colourful glass can really change up the entire look of a table.

Whether you need a pop of colour to shake up white plates and linens, or want to give a professionally-styled polish to your DIY-styled soiree, put down that classic clear glass, and be inspired by these kaleidoscopic vessels instead...

So cool, right? I just love this trend for adding such personality to your table. My favourites are the ones with lots of different colours, but I love how it can look really chic and elegant with just a single colour paired with some clear glasses too.

And it doesn't have to be wine glasses, I like the idea of using colourful glass for plates, water glasses and centrepieces instead.

Would you use coloured glass for your wedding? We'd love to hear about it!
