Stunning Sunset Engagement on Ilkley Moor - Whimsical Wonderland...

A little pause and space this afternoon for a love story... alongside some stunning imagery of course.

Lisa and Tom met at uni and waited until near graduation to declare their love for one another. Now they are planning their Lake District nuptials and it's sure to be a memorable day for all.

Their engagement shoot was cancelled a few times due to poor weather conditions, but boy was it worth the wait. Thanks so much to the amazing Avenue White Photography for sharing these magnificent shots.

From Lisa; "Tom and I met in our first year at university in 2004, and we went on to spend the next three years liking each other but neither quite having the courage to make the first move. It wasn't until we were nearly about to graduate, with the prospect of not seeing each other again, that we finally shared our first kiss on the way home from a night out! We have been together ever since! He is my best friend and the kindest person you will ever meet - the fact he's so gorgeous isn't a bad thing either!"

"On Christmas Day 2013 I opened my card from Tom, which said 'Merry Christmas to my Fiancée'. It took me a few seconds to realise what was happening but when I turned round to see a very nervous looking Tom on one knee with the most beautiful ring I had even seen it all clicked into place; obviously I didn't hesitate to say yes! It was just us at home in our pyjamas and to me it couldn't of been more perfect." "Our engagement shoot with Jonny and Brigitta nearly didn't happen after several cancellations due to the rain! As per the British weather it rained again all day but by 6pm the sun was shining and we had the most beautiful sunset for the backdrop to our shoot. Neither Tom and I are very comfortable in front of the camera but Jonny and Brigitta immediately put us at ease and their enthusiasm for what they do shone through - the whole shoot really added to the build up of excitement towards our big day! We couldn't be happier with the pictures that they have produced, capturing a magical time in our lives that we can look back on for years to come." "Being the centre of attention isn't my favourite thing and so I was initially really nervous about the prospect of a wedding, but Tom has being amazing throughout the whole of the planning process, taking all the pressure of me and doing everything he could to make it all go as smoothly as possible. Even our wedding planner went as far as saying that she like him to become her assistant! Even though we went to a few locations we actually decided to get married in the first place we looked at - as soon as we walked in we knew the Rampsbeck Country House Hotel on Ullswater in the Lake District was for us. Its one of those places that makes you feel instantly at home and Tom and I knew this is where we wanted to get married. We have amazing family and friends and so throughout the planning we've tried to make sure that we've personalised things as much as we can with little surprises along the way; we want them to have a great time, really remember the day and know how important they are to us."

Dreamy. Thanks so so much for sharing guys, I hope you have the most amazing wedding xo Lou
