Under Your Spell; Daughters of Simone Wedding Dress Collection

Under Your Spell; Daughters of Simone Wedding Dress Collection

Full disclaimer, I'm a big (huge!) fan of Daughters of Simone. So much so, I've chosen one of their gorgeous gowns for my July wedding. (You can read all about my wedding dress shopping here!)

But when I clapped eyes on the lookbook for their gorgeous new collection, Under Your Spell, I just knew I couldn't keep this vintage-inspired, San Francisco-based bridal brand to myself, any longer.

Bohemian in spirit, cool in style (and pretty affordable in price!), I think the eclectic brides among you are going to covet these dresses, almost as much as I do.

With names like Fleetwood and Morrisson, it's easy to spot that these dresses are influenced by both musicians and style icons of the past. In fact, Under Your Spell is named after the Bob Dylan song.

The sisters behind Daughters of Simone, Ashley & Brit Castanos, (who we met while we were in NYC for Bridal Fashion Week, they're so lovely!) originally launched the brand by resurrecting vintage wedding dresses, it eventually evolved into their very own line.

Brit even created her own wedding dress, which features in the collection (appropriately titled 'The Brit'). We shared a snap from her wedding on Instagram a few months back, and you guys went wild for it (lots of heart eyes emojis!)

While Daughters of Simone's staple collection is cool, romantic and a little alternative, with crocheted lace, off the shoulder styles and crop tops, Under Your Spell takes all that up a notch, with lace up necklines, tassel details, flared sleeves and cut-out waists.

With a serious nod to the current trend for all things seventies, free spirited brides, this is the collection for you!

Isn't it beautiful? I love that the dresses are quite current and trendy, but because they're vintage-inspired, they'll be really timeless too. And how cool is that playsuit? So fun for a beach wedding or as a dance-proof reception outfit.

Daughters of Simone wedding dresses are priced from $1500-3400 (£1000-2400) and come in a broad range of sizes.

If you like these gowns, be sure to check out the rest of their collections on their site (they've some lovely real vintage dresses and reception gowns on there too).
