Mauritius is a beautifully romantic and idyllic getaway, ideal for a wedding and honeymoon. This serene setting is perfect for settling any nerves on the Big Day. We met in September 2010 when Wickus was working at a scuba dive shop, My brother and his friend convinced Me to do my Open water diving course and with some hesitation I agreed. He was such a gentleman from the moment we met. Like an old fashioned guy he picked me up for our first date. He brought me a big bunch of pink roses which I loved, He was so romantic. It was since then that I knew he was the one.

Our best friends went with us to Namibia where I grew up, and we had planed a great Holiday at Swakopmundt, After a great day at the beach Wickus told me that I need to dress up and he's taking me to town. On our arrival at one of the restaurants a photographer was waiting for us - He told me we were going for a couple photoshoot. Close to the end of our photo shoot the photographer told us that we will be taking sunset photo's on a dune. As we were approaching the top,I looked over to the other side and saw burning words "Will you marry me". The photographer captured every moment as he got down on one knee.

The beach our closest friends, family and knowing that every single person that was there, wanted to be there with us and be apart of our happily ever after.
