There are a few iconic venues that when we see an email coming in with a wedding or a shoot from there, we just know it's going to be beautiful.

And San Francisco City Hall is one of those venues. So grand in scale, so romantic in style, and set in one of the coolest cities on the planet, it has to be one of the most special places in the US to tie the knot.

And today, we're sharing a fine art wedding inspiration shoot that's even more gorgeous than we could have imagined, with dreamy photography by Lara Lam and elegant styling by Kyla Gold.

With chic style (we love the structured romance of Carol Hannah's gowns, and you know we're rather partial to a man bun!), the prettiest stationery, florals, and table decor, and of course, the City Hall setting, this shoot has lots of ideas to borrow for your own big day.

While working on a destination wedding in the Bay Area, fine art film photographer Laura Lam reached out to me about creating an intimate styled shoot at one of our favorite venues, San Francisco City Hall. We drew our inspiration from the intricate romantic details and calming palette of the historic architecture. Seniman Calligraphy created an amazing custom invitation suite detailing the French Beaux-Arts style of City Hall. Laura's film captured the soft detail and luminous glow of an intimate first look elopement in the stunning landmark. Beautiful One Makeup kept the bride's makeup and hair classic and fresh while giving the groom a hip man bun. We kept the design simply chic and elegant, Bowerbird Atelier created a mixture of white blooms and fresh greenery accented by deep navy, smokey blue and gold details. Isn't it romantic? Every time I see shoots like this, all I want to do is elope - it's like something out of a story book!
