Traditional French Hattonchatel Chateau Wedding - French Wedding Style

via

Happy Friday folks, I'm sure you're ready for the coming weekend, I know we are! To kick it off we have for you a traditional French Hattonchatel Chateau wedding for you.

Traditionally in France (not so much a tradition more a legal obligation), couples must marry at the Mairie (the mayor at the town hall) and many choose to incorporate this into their big day. I personally didn't want to see my groom before church so we opted to legally marry the day before at the Mairiewith just my sister, niece and brother-in-law as witnesses. We celebrate our anniversary not on this day though but the day after when we had our religious ceremony with all our close family and friends!

If you are planning a destination wedding it's good to remember this little piece of information...

"Non-residents who do not have a parent living in France require a special dispensation to get married in the country, and this is very rarely granted. Many couples prefer to have the civil wedding in their country of origin or residence, and hold a second, religious or secular, ceremony in France."

I'll now pass you over to Aline Lallemand Photographe who will be walking us through today's Hattonchatel Chateau Wedding...

The couple carried out this event, in all simplicity, with their very close family. We have to benefit from this moment, to make some photographs of the couple in famous Stanislas place. Then, the continuation of the festivities took place the following day." "I left my small town of Lunéville (54) to join Caroline, my bride of the moment, at the Castle of Hatton châtel to begin her preparations." "It was a beautiful environment, soft, convivial, under a blazing sun. Antoine created Caroline's pretty updo and Fatiha, her subtle make-up for the day. They did a super job, Caroline was splendid. I benefited from the pretty decor of the room and made use of the mirror to propose the beautiful work of the make-up artist and stylist." "Then, I took to photograph the preparing of Caroline, with her beautiful dress created by Christophe-Alexandre DOCQUIN. It was a pleasure to photograph." "I went, also, to take photographs during the preparations of Joffrey, who was in a room right beside that of Caroline. He was with his witness and friend. He had a pretty bow tie and very original cufflinks." "Then it was time for the first look, I set them up under beautiful trees, in the shade because the sun was very strong there this day." "The religious ceremony took place a little time after, in the small church of the village of Hatton Châtel. It was a beautiful ceremony very moving." "The festivities started in the park of the Castle and I could take pretty photographs of the couple when the sun started to fall. The festival took place inside the castle until the end of the night..." "I share with you a marriage carried out in August 2015. The civil ceremony took place the day before in the town hall of Nancy (54), Meurthe-et-Moselle, in France.
