Morning lovely people!

We're so excited to talk to the lovely Honey and Bear today on the blog. They're a hire company with a couple of awesome differences; they maintain great quality while remaining super affordable AND (and this bit's our favourite!) they endeavour to be as eco-friendly as possible... All their items are pre-loved, they always opt for recycled where possible and they use eco soy wax candles, and that's just to begin with!

Hello! I'm Gemma - proud owner of the lovely, eco-friendly Honey and Bear. I have a love for all things vintage & quirky and adore that I get to spend my days running my own little business , searching the streets of the UK for vintage treasures (I have fallen head over heels in love with all of the pieces we hire!) and then using them to style fabulously unique weddings! I'm super proud that Honey and Bear is eco-friendly and affordable, without having to compromise on quality, and that remains at the heart of all we do.

When I'm not working, I get taken for walks by my own very cute bear - my golden retriever puppy, Mylo. You will spot him in our photo shoots occasionally! He was a 30th birthday present off my lovely, supportive boyfriend.

I have been to lots of amazing festivals in the UK over the years but I would LOVE to go to Benicassim Festival in Barcelona - I speak Spanish and Barcelona is one of my favourite cities in the world - so romantic and with stunning architecture.

I also wouldn't say no to Snowbombing in Mayrhofen: sun, snow and music - what's not to love?!

I have always been creative and wanted to have my own business so when lots of my friends got married in recent years and all complained about the cost, I was inspired to do something about it. With that in mind, it means a lot to me to be able to provide quality products that are affordable to everybody, as I would hate to think that any bride would have to compromise on her dream wedding just because she couldn't afford it.

My sister is training to be a conservationist so she's always incredibly helpful in thinking up news ways that we can provide excellent quality that doesn't cost the earth too, and that's really important to me.

Honey and Bear is a vintage hire company here to help make your day unique and special, without it costing the earth.

We offer hire of vintage china tea sets, handmade bunting as well as glassware for your candy bar, drinks and flowers; my favourite piece of glassware is our recycled glass beehive drinks dispenser! You can decorate your wedding tables with our array of table linen and decorations, from log slices to vintage tablecloths or hessian and lace runners.

Our 1930s bicycle has to be the most unique member of the collection and looks great in bride & groom photo shoots or as a decorative display as your guests enter.

We offer a bespoke styling service on the day and we even do the washing up after the wedding!
