Brie Larson has had one hell of a year!

After cementing her spot as award season's golden girl and reaching new levels of fame, the actress has gotten engaged to her longtime partner, Alex Greenwald. A representative for the actress confirmed the news to The Huffington Post this morning.

Greenwald, lead singer of the band Phantom Planet, reportedly popped the question while the couple was in Tokyo in March, a source told Us Weekly. Larson was then spotted wearing a ring on that finger during her hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.

The pair have been dating on and off for a few years now, though they keep their relationship quite private. Larson has, however, publicly acknowledged her man in a few of her award acceptance speeches, including at this year's Oscars.

After giving shout-outs to her "Room" co-star Jacob Tremblay and the film's crew, Larson thanked her "real partner Alex Greenwald."

"I love you, the whole thing!" she said.
