After meeting through work at St. Joseph Media, Deborah and Ryan quickly became friends once the two learned that they had both graduated in the same year from Ryerson University and attended the same convocation ceremony. Over the course of a year, their friendship blossomed into something more and they began dating.

The two planned to have a small, intimate wedding with approximately 40 guests, but the feeling was much more grand. The ceremony took place outdoors, surrounded by the gorgeous grounds and scenery of The Old Mill. "It had everything we could possibly have needed under one roof," Deborah says. "The last thing we wanted was for our guests to have to travel to another location for the reception."

A string duo played while Deborah walked down the aisle, moving her father to tears. "This powerful moment was noticed and appreciated by everyone in attendance," Deborah remembers. "It confirmed to us that we had achieved our goal of a personal, elegant wedding celebration."

Following the ceremony, there were smiles all around as guests were able to mingle and personally connect with Deborah and Ryan over dinner. Both the bride and the groom agree that this was one of the greatest highlights of their special day.
