via

Today we've got a beautiful shoot to share with you guys all the way from New Zealand. This is one that's going to inspire a lot of brides planning their wedding day looks, and show couples who have different styles or tastes how to bring two their vibes together, in a chic and elegant way.

With edgy make-up and a classic upstyle, a unique dress with a traditional silhouette, and eclectic decor in a pretty setting, this shoot is all about mixing up styles. And the results are pretty gorgeous.

Photographed by destination photographer Amy Caroline Photography, it features some of the finest wedding vendors in Auckland.

So, rather than us telling you any more about it, we'll hand you over to the lady behind the lens, Amy Caroline Photography herself...

Enjoy!

About the Shoot

What better backdrop for a bridal styled shoot than the lush green of New Zealand? We aimed to find a bridal world somewhere in between boho and chic. Where the modern bride could relate to this look, but it wouldn't be far off from the bride that wants a timeless, elegant look as well. We went with a lace sleeved dress that had the most edgy and unique lace design and a classic bridal up-do, tied in with a bold maroon lip. We had a whimsical bouquet, that was full of greenery and marsala colors, that either an edgy bride, or a classy one would love to carry on her wedding day. With this in mind, we picked the cutest little bed and breakfast Wakefields Lodge, that had rolling green gardens and amazing flower beds that really showed off NZ beauty. We added a slightly more off-beat table scape to counter balance the classic venue. We chose the Juno dress from the Nomadic Love collection of Rue De Seine's 2016 line. We wanted to support the New Zealand wedding industry with local designers and so it only made sense to go with Auckland based designer, as well as vendors for the entire shoot (besides photography!). We thought it perfectly complimented the classic bride, but also had a touch of edge to it with it's one-of-a-kind lace design. Amelia designed a lovely whimsical bouquet, that had a life of it's own with a stunning Marsala color emphasis. We wanted a photoshoot for the bride that loves to be elegant, and yet has a touch of avant-guarde to her as well. We wanted to set something up in Palmerston North, that showed off the beauty that NZ had to offer.

Oh the florals (you know we're crazy for proteas!), I love the colours too, the hair and make-up are gorgeous, and as for that dress - wow!
