Well to start with our story, it's been 7 years and counting.
It all started in 2009 - when we met in a bar. I had a crush on him for a while now, and as luck would have it he started talking to my best friend. Of course I'm thinking, oh well...there's goes my fantasy love. Meanwhile he was trying to smooth over my friend, to get my number. To make a long story short...we've been happily dating for 7 years, bought a house together...when he decided to make me his forever.

I was arriving back from a work conference which was in Cape Town. While I was walking through arrivals, I saw him standing with a banner saying "welcome back". As I approached him, he went down on one knee with the ring in his hand and proposed. "My response was "Rêrig! At the airport..." But of course I said yes. This is the man of my dreams - even if he thinks it's OK to ask me in front of 100's of people, family and colleagues.

How can you put the whole experience into just one moment? Impossible! But if there has to be one moment that I will cherish forever, is the excitement and love that he had on his face, when he saw me walking towards him down the isle.

A day filled with laughter, love and awesomeness.
