Beautiful Film Photography Inspiration from Barcelona

via

Today's inspiration shoot is pure, unadulterated beauty.

There's something so magical about film photography, and there's good reason it's having something of a renaissance in the wedding world.

Digital photography has allowed wedding photographers to turn around your photos in a couple of weeks, it allows them to take gorgeous (in focus!) portraits faster on your wedding day (when you're eager to get back to your guests), and it means you've a better chance of catching an action moment like the first kiss or confetti toss.

But when it comes to the softness, the texture and the romance, film photography is where it's at.

Which is why we're just in so love with today's shoot by Barcelona-based photographer, .

Featuring some rather talented wedding vendors from both Russia and Barcelona, it was captured as part of a film workshop with destination photographer Marina Muravnik. And the results are pretty special.

Not only treating you guys to film photography inspiration for your big day, this chic shoot has stunning florals, gorgeous decor ideas and the most elegant style.

Let's hear more about it from the lovely ...

From the Photographer

It was an incredible opportunity for me to assist at a fine art photography workshop organized by Marina Muravnik Photography that took place in an authentic Spanish villa close to Barcelona. Thanks to Marina, my love for film photography gained a foothold. Film is like another dimension, it makes you feel and see different. I am lucky enough to live in such a great place as Barcelona. It is a perfect destination for couples who are looking for charming old villas, who loves Spanish cuisine and of course the Mediterranean sea. Costa Brava is a pearl of the region with its tiny coves or gardens for small romantic elopements. By the other hand, I would love to mention such a professional vendors as Elena from Sweet William Wedding, with her vision; she gave life and elegance to the story created floral arrangements in soft peach tones. Julia and Karina from Oh My Love Wedding are the best organizers; they made our workflow easy and pleasant. The best of all was that our lovely models are a madly in love - a real couple.

Isn't it beautiful? We've mentioned it before, but Russian destination wedding vendors are really leading the way when it comes to fine art weddings. Check out this guest post from today's florist, Sweet William, which we featured a few weeks back.

Thanks to much to , and the rest of this talented team for sharing their dreamy film photography inspiration with us.
