Our location: The Tudor Arms Hotel, Cleveland, Ohio. We chose this space for several reasons, but the main ones were the size (we had a large wedding) and how gorgeous the venue is. The ballroom, where we served dinner, is absolutely beautiful-you barely even need decorations! We had cocktails, dinner and dancing in three separate rooms, and everything flowed perfectly! The whole floor of the hotel was ours for the night, and we got so many compliments from people who thought it was unique and fun going from one room to the next throughout the evening-it kept things interesting!

Theme: Our colors were periwinkle, blush and gold. The theme was classic and elegant beauty. Since the venue itself was so beautiful, I didn't want to take away from it by overdoing it with decorations, so we kept things rather simple. My aunt did a lot of customized calligraphy for the reception place cards, and my mom made DIY table-number holders-those personalized touches were some of our favorites!

Favorite moments: Some of my favorite moments included being announced as "Mr. and Mrs." for the first time at the reception, and the speeches-because they were so touching-and the dancing! We had so much fun dancing with each other, and with all of our guests, and the band we chose was a big hit!

The dress: My wedding stylist, Dominika, was amazing! I didn't even want to try on the dress I ended up choosing, but I tried it because she picked it out, and it ended up being the one! I wore a blush BLISS Monique Lhuillier dress. I never thought I would wear blush for my wedding, but the color of the dress ended up being one of my favorite things about it.

I went to one other bridal boutique after trying on The Dress-then came back to Nordstrom, put it on, and instantly knew it was the one. I felt very pretty in it, and it was flattering on my figure. My mom and sister were with me when I first tried on The Dress, and they loved it, too. It was all of our favorite!

Advice for other brides-to-be: Enjoy the process! Don't get caught up in, and stress over, every little detail because the actual wedding day goes by so fast. You want to enjoy every moment of being engaged and planning the wedding. If you start to get stressed, remind yourself why you are getting married and think about who you are marrying-try not to lose sight of what matters!
