Grandirosa is a floral design studio that is renowned for pushing the boundaries when it comes to their flowers. Owned by Lil and Mary and based in the creative heartland of East London, they specialise in creating innovative flower installations and intricate designs that carry both beauty and drama.

Back in June, Grandirosa got in touch with Festival Brides to share an exciting, and quite frankly amazing, event that they did at Glastonbury Festival. Yes! The mother of all festivals. These lucky ladies, along with a very dedicated and talented team designed and installed all the flowers for Camp Kerala, a large luxury glamping site that runs throughout the length of Glastonbury.

Camp Kerala is renowned for its style, luxury and 5 star appeal so it was an amazing opportunity for Grandirosa to showcase their beautiful floral design but with a festival edge! They created some inspiring displays which included a wild flower hanging meadow (which I just know you are all going to love) and a herb garden right in front of the bar! I can smell the sweet scents just by looking at the pictures!

Through their designs, they have transformed the roof tops and setting of Camp Kerala into a wild flower meadow which is no mean feat. I know from experience that putting together the hanging meadow must have taken hours and hours to do, let alone all of the rest. Ladies, we salute you!

Mary and Lil talk us through the setting and each floral installation....

Each year the Camp Kerala event takes place in Glastonbury, Somerset on the beautiful setting of Cockmill Farm. This year, the site consisted of a 130 individual luxury tents, a restaurant tent, a bar, a chill out area, a spa and a beautiful decking area overlooking the vast Glastonbury festival site.

Grandirosa designed and installed all the flowers and arrangements for the amazing site consisting of 4 floral arches, 2 hanging meadows, a herb bar, table flower displays and several other stunning arrangements throughout the site. They took their inspiration from the Somerset surroundings and the chic and stylish nature of the event, creating beautiful displays that flowed seamlessly throughout the site, but that delivered big impact for the guests.

The hanging meadow in the restaurant created the perfect atmosphere, using local flower farm flowers. Pale blue delphiniums mixed with varying tones of green and dried flowers. These show stopping displays gave atmosphere and texture to the restaurant.

The 2nd hanging meadow in the chill out area, with its bright pink peonies, dahlias and veronicas mixed with the strong dark purple of the delphiniums and green foliage offered a gorgeous space for guests to relax beneath.

The herb bar created a beautiful centrepiece, that smelt divine.

The sophisticated floral arches were the perfect entrance for guests entering the spa and chill out area.

The stunning colourful archway leading into the chill-out area was packed full of dahlia, peonies and delphiniums.

The table flowers and potted plants ensured the outdoors flowed naturally to the inside space.

Grandirosa also made gorgeous floral crowns for the festival goers.
