Guys, get ready to completely fall for Lucy + John and their absolutely adorable Austin, Texas wedding! We promise it'll get your week started off on the right foot :) L + J kept things in perspective while planning their day, looking for a venue that was a local spot they already loved and frequented, keeping their guest list small and totally intimate, and serving an entirely vegetarian menu because that's what they eat on a daily basis. In addition to all the personalized details, we love how they made their celebration a community affair, opting to involve their talented friends and family in the planning and design process.

Lucy shares, We leaned heavy on our talented pool of pals to be a part of the details. From designing wedding invitations featuring Larry David and bottles of Sriracha, creating chalkboard signage, helping get special beers, officiating the ceremony and spinning records- our friends helped tremendously. Getting to see so many great folks in our lives together in the same beautiful space ended up being the most special part.

On her wedding day look, Lucy tells us, I felt like this was an opportunity to buy a crazy dress that I adored and I was so underwhelmed by traditional wedding styles. I loved that my dress (from Temperly London) was colorful and my boots were well-worn ones from Madewell that I've had for years. It made me feel comfortable and like myself. I never felt like I was wearing a costume.
