Tropical Boho Chic Wedding Shoot With An Art Deco Feel - Weddingomania
It's easy to think that if you go the elopement route, it means you opt out of many of the design driven details a wedding has the potential for: the epic cake, the stunning décor-but this inspiration coming to us from Gabriella of Love Records Collective and For The Good Hawaii definitely proves that an intimate affair can be just as chic.
Everything took place at the beautiful Dillingham Ranch in Mokuleia, Hawaii. Obvs makes for a perfect destination wedding, but we can totally see couples recreating this scene all across the country.
It was a golden summer afternoon on the island of Oahu when they captured the sweet love between Teresa and Aaron under the swaying palm trees. They were deeply inspired by the lush tropical setting, but they also wanted to push past the traditional beach wedding concept and put a spin on the shoot by adding touches of black, Eames chairs and vintage rugs as well as incorporating tropical fruit into the design. The team chose the coconut groves of Dillingham Ranch as the location, which created the perfect setting for this bohemian, tropical elopement.
The bride was wearing an art deco inspired gown with a V-neck and embellished shoulders, with an open back. She was rocking a lush and bold bridal bouquet and a cool floral crown of the same flowers. The groom rocked a dark grey suit and a black bow tie with a bold tropical boutonniere. The black cake was decorated with tropical flowers and leaves, it looked tropical, boho and art deco at the same time - so unique!
