This wedding has the most relaxed, elegant feel! From the bride's flowing Jenny Packham gown, to her stunning bouquet of white florals and eucalyptus greenery, to THAT candlelit reception on a terrace overlooking the iconic Lake Como, this is definitely a midsummer night's dream, Italian-style.

The Ceremony

Why did you choose this location for your ceremony? Because Lake Como is very important to us and we always dreamed of a ceremony at a lakeside villa.

Who officiated your ceremony? Ludovina of Cerimonie Laiche.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding ceremony? Exchanging our vows and the wedding ring ceremony in the delightful garden under a beautiful arch of flowers.

The Reception

What inspired you when you were planning your wedding? The overall vision was of a botanical wedding with delicate colors, and a vintage touch. There were many handmade details personalized just for us and really celebrated the things we love in our everyday lives.

What was your wedding menu? Given the heat, we did an antipasto table on the terrace. This featured fresh figs and local cheeses and meats. We had two seated main courses of fish and veal, then returned to the terrace for our sweets table.

How would you describe your reception? Intimate, elegant, botanical.

Why did you choose this location for your reception? For the beauty of Lake Como. Also, this particular Villa was really in keeping with the style of the wedding, as envisioned by our wonderful wedding planners, Benevent planner.

What type of cake or dessert did you serve? Naked cake, "pasticceria Italiana".

What was your favorite moment or part of the reception? Cutting the cake illuminated by sparklers held by our guests.
