18 nostalgic wedding lawn games for your outdoor reception

via

Outdoor wedding lawn games are a killer way to keep kids and kids-at-heart busy at a reception. They're even more rad at a no dancing reception. Take advantage of a good season and some outdoor space for badminton, ring toss, corn hole, and giant versions of your favorite nostalgic games like Jenga and 4-to-Score. Plus, it'll get your indoor gaming friends out into familiar territory.

Let's get to the games!

You can even get JTBsWoodWorks to add custom logos, cupholders, scoreboards, or LED lights to your rustic wooden cornhole boards! (Our own editor Megan is using these for her wedding lawn games.)

Comes in four colors! Nighttime receptions will look so rad. You can even get cornhole bags in custom colors to match your theme.

Or how about inflatables that look like real bowling pins?

More dice, less problems, I always say.

In Yazoo, players attempt to knock bottles or cans from perches on vertical poles. Watch for heads!

This game was a Shark Tank darling. The object is to bounce a ball onto a trampoline-style net. Probably won't hold people... fair warning.

If you're feeling fancy!

The object is to knock over wooden blocks, known as kubbs, by throwing wooden batons at them, known as "haselsticks." Like bowling meets horseshoes!

The players use a wooden pin (also called "mölkky") to try to knock over wooden pins (also called "skittles") of almost similar dimensions with the throwing pin, which are marked with numbers from 1 to 12.

The MUCH safer version from the ones that were banned when we were kids.

And a custom sign to get everyone to the game area!
