Lightning strikes near the Sydney Opera House, an iconic part of the New South Wales’ capital’s cityscape. In 1960, famous baritone singer and actor Paul Robeson climbed the scaffolding of the structure and sang “Ol’ Man River” to construction workers while they ate lunch, making him the first person to have performed at the venue.
