I have to admit that when I meet with a bride, I can't help but notice her engagement ring. It's like when we sit down to discuss her flowers, my eyes immediately focus on her ring finger. I'm also surprised to learn that so many brides were involved in picking out their engagment ring.

White Chocolate Bread Pudding: it's the most asked-for recipe here on the blog-and the most popular dessert at Nordstrom Cafe Bistro. There's a reason for that; it's pretty incredible. While baking, the pudding filled my kitchen with the smell of French toast, and the half-exposed bread on top developed a light crust, which added a nice textural contrast to the silky interior.

The newlyweds wanted a day that was casual, relaxed and vintage style and chose one of their favourite cafes as the one venue for the festivities to unfold. Mark Condon of Gold Hat Photography was there to capture it all.

There is such a sense of joy around Zoe and Mark's quirky café wedding. The duo chose a café that had a beautiful courtyard garden sheltered by a Manchurian pear tree. By day the space was the perfect place for a garden ceremony.
