These DIY color dipped bottles from last week's cocktail party picnic are such a fun way to add a dose of color to any party - and the DIY tutorial couldn't be easier! I chose a few bright summery colors for our little picnic, but you could easily choose just two colors to distinguish cocktails from non-alcoholic drinks or fit in with your own party.

For Roxane and Pierre, a relaxed homespun wedding was perfect. Their small ceremony was held at city hall, and they hosted the reception in the bride's house. "Pierre and I met in Qatar, where we both work as airline pilots", the bride began.

On their first date, Eddie was going to take Carly out for cheesecake, but when they got to the restaurant it was already closed. Eddie just so happened to have all the ingredients for cheesecake at his house, so he invited Carly over at 11pm to bake cheesecake.

Today's engagement shoot is so sweet and chic that it's like a pop of summertime in an otherwise rather dreary (here in London, anyway!) Thursday morning. Captured by some of our favourite photographers for engagement shoots, Peter & Veronika, (check out these past posts to see why), this session is fun, candid, romantic, stylish - and even features an adorable pooch!

The food is ready, the basket is packed, the blanket is folded up, you're ready to go. But wait! What about the drinks? The picnic is ruined! Just kidding. The picnic is just fine, because summer cocktails are super easy to make in batches and bottle ahead of time, and perfect for sharing with friends outdoors.

For those of you who love the retro theme, we've got such an eye-candy today! Scarlett and Tim decided to have a wedding in retro glam style in its best. Everything from boldly fashionable groom's and bridal style, which is by the way a great combination of vintage vixen, rockabilly and splash of glam, to some vintage wheels fits the main theme and looks just gorgeous all together.

There are plenty of wedding inspiration shoots being featured on wedding blogs and in the magazines, but there's a distinct lack of same sex models for my liking! Which is why when this shoot from Six Hearts Photography came in, I was thrilled!

A low-key couple, Malena and Scott's idea of a "perfect wedding" didn't look like the so-called norm; it wasn't Pinterest-perfect and it didn't involve a ton of details. Their version of "perfect" was small and simple (and stress-free!)

Today's summer cocktail picnic party inspiration and ideas are perfect if you're planning to meet up with friends to watch fireworks this weekend - or for any group get togethers you might plan this summer!

They met online and with a mutual love of all things nerdy (their first date was eating cheese toasties and watching Dark Crystal) they connected instantly. They were married in August at Sole Street House in Kent. "Our theme evolved into a relaxed, geeky garden party", wrote Kirsty. "Vintage touches and having the full day to relax into the venue meant that it felt very natural and laid-back. We picked a colour theme of teal and asked all of our guests to wear something to match. As time went on, it became green and blue in all of the shades but it meant that we could relax about a 'theme' and still have everything come together."

Tim and Scarlett were married on 8th August, their five year anniversary. They had a church ceremony followed by a tea party reception in the gardens of Baxby Manor, a gorgeous 705 year old Manor house. "We knew that we wanted somewhere beautiful, and Baxby ticked all the boxes", Scarlett began. "It even came with a glamping site down the lane for all our guests to stay over! Baxby isn't a wedding venue, just a luxury holiday letting, but the owners were amazing and let us create a beautiful day there, as if it were our own house."

The glorious wedding of Val and Jones was held at Vinyols Camps in Spain. They wanted the day to be relaxed, fun and full of details that were personal to them. Val carried a 'bouquet' of broccoli instead of flowers because she is a huge advocate for sustainability and minimalism, and they drank tea as part of their ceremony because they both love it!

This adorable couple wanted a wedding that reflected their personalities and style, and allowed them to celebrate with family and friends over an extended wedding weekend.
