Vicky & Stewart Have Fun In The Rain……

Vicky & Stewart Have Fun In The Rain……

Happy Monday Lovely People,

Hope you all had a gorgeous weekend.

We have a beautiful engagement shoot to share with you today.

Shot by Emma from Heart Full of Tea, the shoot took place in a picturesque woodland on a rainy summers day. With Emma’s direction, Vicky & Stewart just let go………….rain, sun, hail……they embraced whatever the good old British weather threw at them and had fun. As a result they have some gorgeous photos that I’m sure they will cherish forever.

Look out for the beautiful shots in the woodland – the colours are lovely.

How did you guys meet?

We met rock climbing what seems like a very long time ago. We are both keen rock climbers (although Stew much more so than me!) and it’s something we very much enjoy.

What was your first date like?

We had been climbing together a couple of times, but our official first date was to a very smart restaurant in London where we both drank far too much gin and ended up clubbing until the early hours.

Who proposed and how?

Stew proposed on top of a cliff in Sark. He had planned a surprise trip for our 5 year anniversary and, much to my surprise, popped the question as we were sharing a bottle of wine and a pie watching the sun go down on a little bench overlooking the sea. It was a gorgeous evening and is a totally magical memory.

When and where are you getting married?

We’re planning on a big party for all our friends and family. We’re getting married in our local village church in West Berkshire and having the reception in the village hall opposite. We’re planning for a low key day with lots of booze!

What do you both consider is an important element for your big day?

To make it personal to both of us. We have thought a lot about what we both like and how we want our wedding to reflect our personalities and lives together. Our friends and family are helping us decorate the hall and we’re hoping that all the alcohol will disguise the fact that it is basically an old tin shed!

Tell us a little about the engagement shoot and photographer you’ve chosen

We had a hilarious engagement shoot! It was hailing on the way to the woods near us and we couldn’t believe it when we stepped out of the car to sunshine. The rain had made everything sparkle around us and Emma made us both so relaxed. I was particularly nervous about having my photo taken as I always look slightly mad in pictures! Emma took loads of great photos though and we were so pleased with the results. We can’t wait for the wedding now!
